“Had family visiting from Texas who had never fly fished. The location of Riverlands Retreat is perfect for anglers. Catch and release only at the cabin where we caught multiple trout everyday using artificial nymphs or streamers. If you want to keep trout that you catch, the cabin is just 15 minutes from multiple sites (Rock Creek, Deep Hole, Cooper Creek, Sandy Bottom) stocked by the Dept of Natural Resources. It was rainy while we visited so the screened, covered backporch overlooking the……

“This is an absolutely gorgeous house and location. It would be very hard to beat this in all of N. Georgia. The house was clean and well equipped. The owners were extremely quick to provide anything we needed and saved us a drive to the store when we forgot a food item.”

“Pros-The property was beautiful and the house was spacious and clean. The hot tub was a big hit and everyone enjoyed wading in the river. The kitchen had everything we needed for the multiple meals we prepared. The beds were comfortable and the view was beautiful and peaceful. We also enjoyed the fire pit one night. Be sure to grab some firewood from Ingles or somewhere though as none is provided.Cons- the house is quite old and feels a bit fragile. The owner seems to have had bad experiences……

“House was a wonderful place to relax for the week. Bed was comfortable. Loved the views of the mountains. Deer met us at the fence line one morning. Neighborhood was quiet and very peaceful. We loved the two wood burning fireplaces. Owners were very responsive to our questions. Would love to return!!”

“This property was beyond beautiful. It had 3 floors that accommodated my family of 16. We had the pleasure of going tubing, create a bonfire and enjoyed the sounds of the river and geese. We plan on returning in the near future. ”

“We had never visited Dahlonega. The cabin was an easy 10 min drive to town. The cabin was spotless. Great bed and pillows. Cute cute property. Personnel were great. Loved the wine flight. Fun added feature. Good parking. Ultra pet friendly. ”

“My family and I spent an uneventful week at this beautiful cabin. Check-in was a breeze, the house was as described, with no detail being ignored. The home has everything you'll need from a toothpick to a washer/dryer (just bring groceries). The home is close to walking trails, waterfalls and neighboring towns such as Helen, Dahlonega, Jasper, etc. We enjoyed our Christmas getaway and the fact that each bedroom had it's, own bath and that there are 2 living areas to stretch.
