“This is an older hotel, but well maintained, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It was very quiet and just what was needed for an overnight stay near the University of North Georgia. The front desk staff were friendly. I would stay here again. ”

“The price is right, and you'll get what you pay for. It's a decent hotel to crash for a night. A little rough around the edges -- busted smoke alarm, sketchy looking key pad, etc. But if you're looking for a hot shower and a place to crash, it's good enough. Staff was very friendly and professional.”

“The rooms were great, as well as the service! Just in a bad area for dining. And maintenance was being done in the room next door so I was woken up early my last day.”

“My stay at the Smith House was great. Easy walk to the Dahlonega square, campus, and easy parking. Check in was quick and the room was clean with a nice bed and shower. I did not dine at the Smith House. With all that being said, the price per night was way too much for the stay, and i won't be staying here again unless it's a reasonable rate. Unfortunately there just aren't many options close to town.”
