“The view from the mountaintop lodge phenomenal. The trail system and the waterfall were breathtaking. The staff couldn’t be more cordial and competent!”

“Hotel and rooms are very clean. Pool and hot tub well maintained. Breakfast is simple but good. Staff always helpful and welcoming. I stay there once a month and am always pleased.”

“My stay at the Smith House was great. Easy walk to the Dahlonega square, campus, and easy parking. Check in was quick and the room was clean with a nice bed and shower. I did not dine at the Smith House. With all that being said, the price per night was way too much for the stay, and i won't be staying here again unless it's a reasonable rate. Unfortunately there just aren't many options close to town.”

“Only problems 1) uphill walk from parking, but I am 70 and 2) in our room #5, we could hear people talking loudly in an adjoining room all evening. Staff was wonderful but only on premises before 6pm. They did answer all text questions immediately regardless of time, however.”
