“We stayed at a one bedroom apartment facing east. This unit was on the 23rd floor and though it was high from the ground the noise of the city was loud. For a moment I felt I was in New York as the near by Atahualpa Stadium was testing the sound for a local concert. The other thing I noticed was that it gets hot in the morning if you don’t lower the window treatments. And one minus was that there is no dryer in the unit. “Very convenient to historic Cuenca via tranvia (inexpensive electric cable car) and only a 2 block walk to a very good. large grocery store where there are also a few casual eating, pharmacy, clothing, etc shops. A walk into town is only 15-20 minutes for a good walker.2 large bedrooms, kitchen, dining and desk/internet area.
