The host prepared breakfast for me in the morning which was delicious including fresh fruits and homemade juice. The room was extremely clean. “WOW! This hotel is going through a refurb- our room was fab- we had an executive uite, the sea view was amazing. The food was great, to be able to eat on the pool terrace and walk straight out to the beach was amazing. The hotel was clean and the sfaff freinedly and super attentive. “Natscha and her assistant Ajit run this wonderful small guesthouse. If you are looking for an authentic, local experience then stay here. But, it is not that easy to get to, The road to the bungalow is largely unpaved and steep but, for us, that was all part of the attraction. The surroundings are beautiful - lush green jungle, beautiful rice paddies, local temples etc. But, if you don't have your own vehicle then it is not possible to get out at night. The cuisine is local and very good.……

“We stayed here on our honeymoon, and was expecting a little more hospitality to be honest couldn't even get a free drink out of them 😅. They do hound you a little in the mornings for room service so don't expect a lay in at this place! The food was really good, bar slightly over priced so all inclusive would be worth it if you intend to spend most of your time at the hotel. “Comfortable stay, we were welcomed by Wasantha who checked us in, with a delicious watermelon juice made by Charana. The room was spacious and clean. Beautiful pool and garden area - towels were supplied. The breakfast cooked by Anuradha was delicious - fruit, toast, eggs, tea and coffee. Great value for a very luxurious stay! Due to off season there was not much going on so we had the full attention of the staff, we even once got a whole sri lankan curry for lunch for free and it was delicious.
