“Beautiful place to stay with a gorgeous lakeside deck. It was fun having a billiards table to play. The host is very kind and friendly. She was next door and greeted us and made sure we didn’t need anything. The one thing to keep in mind since I’m not sure it was mentioned in the listing is that the bed is a foldaway bed and the room or suite is not an actual bedroom but a bride/dressing suite. It is located in the second floor of an event venue where they host weddings and other events. Overall……

“Spent a long weekend celebrating our 27th anniversary. The cabin was beautiful, clean & comfortable. We spent our first day in town shopping & the rest of the weekend on the river. Everything you could need is minutes away yet when you’re at the ranch you feel like you’re so far away you can actually relax & see the stars. I highly recommend it to anyone needing to decompress. ”

“The "Ft Worth" (1 of 4 on property in Weatherford) cabin was great for my solo stay (would not want to share the space since the bathroom isn't actually totally separated), restful, relaxing, beautiful! “What a wonderful place to disconnect with city life and enjoy the beauty of nature. The amenities were also a nice touch - fire pit, hot tub, outdoor grill, tons of outdoor seating and wi-fi (great for the teens in your life). A vast property to hike on and explore. The Brazos River was a relaxing excursion that you can hike to or drive to. They offer a lot of activities on the ranch if you want to be engaged that way, but we didn't do those. “What a great stay. Weather was awesome during our time there. Property manager was great and had 2 beautiful labs extremely friendly and well behaved. Place was perfect for 2 people. Well maintained and very cozy and peaceful. Fully equipped with everything you need. The only thing I think should be addressed would be the futon bed and mattress. Not too comfortable and a little difficult to slide back in. Other than that, I would give it a 10 rating ”

“Loved the gorgeous location, wood interior and exterior, and the spacious porch. The bedroom was lovely - very comfy king bed. We liked the split shower head option in the bathroom too. The kitchen was well equipped for our cooking needs - new and very nice appliances. Everything was very clean! The property was so quiet and peaceful - great for sleeping or just relaxing on the porch. The beehives were cool to see as well as the trails around the property. Even in August, there were some lovely……

“It was very clean and private. The wooded area was great. We saw deer every morning and evening. It’s a short walk or drive to the private river access which was amazing! There was gunfire every afternoon, which was not great, but not sure if it was on the property or someone ”
