“Beautiful place to stay with a gorgeous lakeside deck. It was fun having a billiards table to play. The host is very kind and friendly. She was next door and greeted us and made sure we didn’t need anything. The one thing to keep in mind since I’m not sure it was mentioned in the listing is that the bed is a foldaway bed and the room or suite is not an actual bedroom but a bride/dressing suite. It is located in the second floor of an event venue where they host weddings and other events. Overall……

“Spent a long weekend celebrating our 27th anniversary. The cabin was beautiful, clean & comfortable. We spent our first day in town shopping & the rest of the weekend on the river. Everything you could need is minutes away yet when you’re at the ranch you feel like you’re so far away you can actually relax & see the stars. I highly recommend it to anyone needing to decompress. ”

“It was the second time we have stayed there and Steve and Sheri didn't disappoint. They have everything you need for a pleasant stay and they let my grandkids put a bounce house in the backyard and even let them go down by the dock and fish and it has a mini split in the living room and in the bedroom as well as all the amenities of a washer and dryer and a fully stocked kitchen. They are great host and will definitely stay again”

“The cabin was AMAZING!!! I was really looking forward to staying there when I booked it and it was even better than I hoped. This is hands down the most well thought out rental I've ever stayed in. Anything that I thought would be nice to have or hoped would be available was there. The cabin and property is beautiful, peaceful and truly cozy. I only wish I could have stayed longer! ”

“What a wonderful place to disconnect with city life and enjoy the beauty of nature. The amenities were also a nice touch - fire pit, hot tub, outdoor grill, tons of outdoor seating and wi-fi (great for the teens in your life). A vast property to hike on and explore. The Brazos River was a relaxing excursion that you can hike to or drive to. They offer a lot of activities on the ranch if you want to be engaged that way, but we didn't do those. “What a great stay. Weather was awesome during our time there. Property manager was great and had 2 beautiful labs extremely friendly and well behaved. Place was perfect for 2 people. Well maintained and very cozy and peaceful. Fully equipped with everything you need. The only thing I think should be addressed would be the futon bed and mattress. Not too comfortable and a little difficult to slide back in. Other than that, I would give it a 10 rating ”
