“The lodge is a perfect getaway for people looking for some quiet time. The property is very well kept and you will be amazed with the interiors. The owners definitely put in a lot of work to create a serene retreat in the mountains. The owners are friendly, come and personally greet you. There's a sauna, fire pit, hot tub and japanese style baths on the property, coupled with a well equipped kitchen, there's no reason to leave the property except to enjoy several hikes in the vicinity. “Vacationed with our children and grandchildren at the Lazy River Ranch for a few days. What a wonderful spot, we rented Kayaks and tubes, and were able to enjoy the river right outside the back door. The highlight of our stay was when 3 large bucks made their way to the river one evening. Loved the layout of the house and the well stocked kitchen.”

“Rustic and charming log cabin. Almost no staff visible. Text for help. No breakfast, no food items for sale on property. Limited activities. At the base of the majestic Brazos Cliffs. Several miles from the highway and further yet to any retail. Heavily wooded. Wildlife in abundance. Enjoyed our stay, loved the wood-burning stove! Probably would not stay again nonetheless.”
