“Great value, very nice room and room service, handy location, although would be good if you could rent a motorbike. Air conditioning in room was great, though the rest of the hotel is very hot but not a big deal given they are obviously saving energy.”

“The view was amazing and Korina, her younger brother Nabeen and the staff were very helpful and made our stay very pleasant. The only couple of things i would recommend to improve the property area would be maybe changing the floor mat and cushions in the seating and view area as the wiod and marble furniture was beautiful but the floor carpet and cushions were worn down impacting the overall ambience and experience of the place. Also the door lock didn't seem to work properly so strong reliable……

“This is one of our favorite stops in many many years of traveling. First of all we have to give major gratitude to Soisuda, who we affectionately nicknamed “Auntie” because she always made sure we had everything we needed, cooked amazing breakfasts, and set up one of the most phenomenal tours we have ever been on. She arranged transportation from and to two different destinations for us. We told her we didn’t want do a very touristy tour of the bay, and she arranged for us to visit all the……

“Too close to the airport, not close enough to anything else. Hour taxi ride to get to Patong, Elephant sanctuary or anywhere else worth visiting on the island. Accommodation (2 Bdrm pool villa) was ok, breakfast was below average and resort dining options were limited. Would not stay again. ”

“Wonderful 5 day stay at Purana for our honeymoon. The people who staff the resort are so very friendly and helpful. A highlight was the boat trip to Kong Island and also riding around the island in the resort’s Honda scooter with sidecar. ”
