“The staff was friendly and helpful and considering the age of the property, it was very clean. The rooms were huge and they all had a pretty view of the field behind the property. “We have stayed at the Historic Cary House for many years while visiting wine country near Placerville. It is very convenient and walkable to Main Street restaurants and to regional wineries. The hotel is clean and quiet. The front desk manager is very helpful.”

“Wow! The perfect place for a romantic getaway! The grounds and rooms are just gorgeous with spectacular views. The breakfast was the best! So delicious! We just loved the pool with a waterfall and slide. Every touch was amazing - super comfy bed, robes, arriving with the mini fridge already cool, wine glasses and pool towels ready. Our only regret was not booking another night. Can’t wait to return!!”
