“Upon arrival at the gates, a herd of deer greeted us. The cottage, the appointments, the location, the tranquility did not disappoint. As birdwatchers, we enjoyed morning walks with various birdsongs. We would definitely return.”

The showers in both bathrooms were good, powerful showers and the option for a bath in the main bathroom. “We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is a thoughtfully designed self-contained pod, built with natural materials, plenty of nice design touches, and careful thought put into maximizing a small footprint. This self-contained unit includes, a kitchenette, fire stove, and parking. Its position on a quiet hillside afford visitors with a gorgeous view of mists rolling down the hills to Loch Awe. “This was a great ‘home’ base to come home to each day, after exploring the spectacular beauty of the Kinlochleven and Glencoe areas. It was such a relaxing and quiet place to spend time and really made our time here perfect! We liked how everything we needed was within walking distance - grocery, pubs, local trails. The interior was so comfortable, and we really enjoyed everything about it. The bed really is the comfiest bed in Scotland, as advertised! We hope to return in the future.”

“This was a wonderful stay, especially if you wanted to be back away from the crowded areas. My map app took me to the wrong side, but theres a little sign up, so you at least know you're near the right place. Oh, and James might tease you a bit ;) But then was very happy to give recommendations and show me where the clothes drying rack was”
