“Good location!”

“I have stayed at the beautiful property in the past, and I must admit that things have really changed. The location is beautiful and I love the themed rooms, but the room and furniture need a lot of upgrades. They used to walk you to your room, but this time I was given a very small laminated map that I couldn’t read. The curtains were gone and the shower curtain was ripped. The charm is gone, and that was so appealing before. Housekeeping knocked on my door at 8:30am on the day I was checking……

“The location was a 8-minute walk to the boardwalk which was nice, the bed, wifi and TV were fine. The pool was indoors, filled with screaming children and honestly looked pretty gross. The lobby appeared to be in state of remodeling and was closed at night, so there was no access to the lobby bathroom. The sign to the motel was covered in cobwebs. The outdoor seating area was in the parking lot or on the street. We were only there for one night and didn't spend much time at the motel so overall……

“We spent a month at West Cliff Hideaway. The location is fantastic - 2 blocks from the ocean in a lovely neighborhood. We were able to walk to the Pier and Boardwalk from our front door every day. Seeing the waves and surfers never grew old. The host, Robin lives in the main house and was always available for anything we needed. We rarely saw her so we always felt like we had privacy. “The place was lovely, a unit in a two unit casita (share a wall with another unit) off the main house, next to the pool and the vineyard. This unit has a private rose garden, nice seating area and a lovely cat that sat with us. Stargazing was a bit difficult because of all of the lights on the property, but still very beautiful. The bed was comfy and the area was very quiet. There is not a lot of noise privacy between the bed and bathroom, like many hotel rooms. The keurig worked fine and they……

“Zero check in instructions upon arrival, no lock on the door, and dirty bed. What a disaster! When we initially arrived on the property, we realized we were given zero check in instructions. We sat outside the front gate without the gate code to access the property. After several attempts to contact the owner we drove over to the target parking lot to investigate what was happening.
