“This spot was perfect for a low key weekend away. We backpack regularly, so having a hot shower and an electric kettle made it feel so luxurious! We loved sitting on the porch rocking chairs, and it was close enough to get to any Durango activities. ”

“We stayed here for a week. It was so nice. Rooms were nice. Fully stocked with everything you need. Played corn hole nearly every day with the kids. We liked the hot tub. I sat on porch early in mornings and it was so peaceful. We were able to go to Durango and ride the train. Went to Silverton for the 100 year old mine. This was a nice trip.”

“We had a lot of fun, caught a bunch of fish and released them, it was very comfortable and a excellent location, right on the water,We would definitely stay there again, it rained every day 2 or 3 times and at night it would rain, sure was good sleeping weather, every one walking by with there dogs were nice friendly, and stopped and talked I talked to someone that was cleaning the cabin and she was very nice I would recommend staying there. ”

“We loved the convenience of being close to family in Bayfield. Previously we have stayed in hotels in Durango and were glad not to have to drive back and forth to Durango every day. The cabin was in such a pretty setting by the river. Although we didn’t have time to enjoy the property, we hope to return! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The host said we could bring an air mattress, so each grandchild spent a night with us also. Perfect! ”

“We love this rental. It’s the second time we have stayed here and all was great. Very clean house with comfortable beds, great location, quiet neighborhood, close to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. They added a Kourig coffee maker since the last time we were there and someone left Starbucks K cups which was very helpful. One suggestion to improve is cookware- pots and pans are scratched up Teflon which we avoided using. However we were thankful for alternate stainless steel pans. Also a teapot……
