“The lodge is a wonderful place to get away to birch trees and smell off clean pine air. Our lake view was amazing. The leaves were just beginning to show the onset of fall with few hues of red and orange. We took many walks around the property enjoying the woods and lake. The resort was quiet but people hanging out at the beach or fisherman taking their boats early in the morning. The pool and spa were used a few times. It should open early. The kitchen and dining were stocked to meet our needs.……

“The property is very dated but but is a good representation of Northern Wisconsin. This used to be a bar restaurant so you have lots of space with big commercial kitchen and bar. Bedrooms are nice. Bathrooms are okay but we did have problems with septic system which took a few days to correct. Maintenance guy was great! Even took my call on his day off. If you are a large group this is a great place to stay. Pricing is high but there are few options for this area. Even with the few problems we……

“We stayed in the hotel room. It had a nice kitchen and bathroom. No dishwasher so you are responsible to sterilize all the eating and cooking utensils before you leave. The sofa was the only place to sit other than at a table. The sofa was broken down and very uncomfortable to sit in and get out of. The bed was king size with 3 pillows and ok to sleep on. The bathroom was fixed up nicely. The area around the lodge needed a lot of work, paint, walkways (some closed), etc as well as the……
