“Beautiful place, cozy cabins, really enjoyed our trip. Maybe some new mattresses, it was a little uncomfortable. Ate at restaurant, supposed to be St. Patrick's Day party. Staff was completely overwhelmed. Well over an hour to get wings and a pizza. Garlic parm wings were really good! Pizza just ok. Party was not happening, so some customers who appeared to be regulars got karaoke started. Overall, we had a great time! Definitely interested in coming back forva friends trip. Probably will……

“We had a wonderful stay at this property. The creek and wooded area was fun for our kids to explore and the firepit was perfect for smores every night (with metal sticks provided!). While the kitchen isn't huge, it definitely had plenty of space for our needs and was well stocked with utensils, pots/pans, etc. The beds have the softer memory foam toppers and there were more than enough linens for us to use. Any communication we had with the host was quick and easy.”

“Property was great for what we needed. Kitchen and utensils were nice for cooking breakfast, before heading to the Tygart, Shavers Fork, and Elk rivers. Close enough to get to Elkins for supper if you want.lothistory ”

“My mom, SIL, and I took a much needed three day weekend away to visit the Maple Festival and spend some girl time together. The Cabin at Back Creek is the perfect spot to do that. The proximity to the sites of the festival is perfect; we didn’t feel like we were in the car too long and the views along the drive are amazing. The Cabin is perfectly situated on the creek to enjoy the sounds of water and birds while relaxing on the porch or in the hot tub. Highly recommend a visit if you want to get……

“My family booked the cabin for a short, 3-day rest and each day was so full. Packed with coffee in the hot tub, listening to the creek, short or long (depending on mood) walks up the stream while my husband and son fished for native trout. Enjoying meals on the grill, a roaring fire in the pit just outside and movie nights outside on the covered porch with our bodies telling when to sleep and wake. A true gem at the end of the road where life slows to let you savor! Blessed to have visited……
