“We have stayed at this property in the past. It is clean and very comfortable. We enjoy the wrap around deck and the fire pit. The only improvements could be new furniture on the deck. The one chair was ripped completely thru. Also, needs a new shower curtain. Was very moldy. The beds are so very comfortable. Again, was very clean. We will be back again. ”

“I booked a short stay, spur of the moment, and Peter was very kind and accommodating. He made the whole process extremely easy. The cottage is great! It sits right on Lower Herring Lake, so I had terrific views and complete lake access. The cabin is nicely appointed and has a spacious living room, and a very comfortable, cozy bedroom. The kitchen contains everything you need for your stay and the washer and dryer on the back indoor porch is an added bonus. I will be back!”

“This place was even better than the pics! It worked out perfect for our trip and our family of 12 had more than enough room! I would definitely recommend thia place to anyone looking to stay in the area! We had to make a cpl last minute changes on our trip and the host was very accommodating. Thank you very much! “This property was a wonderful get away. Having access to the pontoon boat and kayaks was so much fun. There was a little bit of a walk from the house to the lake on a private path but not to bad maybe 2-3 mins. It is fairly close, 45 mins-ish, to Sleeping Bear Dune National Lakeshore and is a really cool place to visit. Climbing the dune is no joke but fun. The only thing that could make it better would be to have some 9x13 or 8x11 bakeware. We had to improvise using a loaf pan to make brownies……
