“The property grounds and cabin were clean and well maintained, and the best part for us was the outdoor fireplace and sitting area in the screened-in lanai. We spent most of our time there enjoying the fire as we listened to the rushing river. The cabin had everything we needed, and the host was accessible, responsive, and accommodating. Even though it rained for the majority of the time we were there, the beauty of the cabin, property, amenities, and a gracious host, overshadowed the lack of……

One note though--I was emailed a long packet of contractual information--it was quite dense, quite legal-sounding, and though it was reasonable and any host is entitled to enforce their own posted rules of VRBO, the fact that it was sent outside of the VRBO platform, in addition to how contractual the language felt, left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. It took away the "bed and breakfast" community vibe, and made it feel……
