“There was initial disagreement over how many rooms we had booked that would have been resolved quickly if a representative of the hotel were on premises. Host, who could be reached only by phone, insisted that AC worked in the hotel, when it did not. Once resolved, the AC stopped sometime in middle of night. On positive note, public spaces and guest rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the hotel is just steps from the ocean. Certainly not the fault of the hotel, but there is no Uber or……

“Lovely peaceful stay. Everything was lovely and clean. We were lucky to be the only ones staying, as we hadn’t realised it was a shared bathroom etc. great to have the kitchen to be able to prepare food. The balcony overlooking the water was amazing and the host was perfect, very helpful.”

“We staid one night while hiking the caminho portuguese. The hotel is located in a very nice area, but outside the town. It looks like everything is still as it was in the 70ties, but it had an amazing charme. Breakfast was good and we even booked dinner, as we were reading external restaurants are a longer hike away. Dinner was ok. Staff was friendly. Pool was nice. I plan to come again, due to the charme of teh hotel and the area.”
