“Came to Port Richey area for son’s speciality therapy. The pool was perfect for him in a quiet, non- touristy neighborhood. My flights were delayed for a day and the owner was very kind and accommodating with my change in schedule. There was one unexpected issue with the electricity going off in the kitchen but it was resolved in a good time frame and the owner came over herself to fix the problem. The outdoor area is adjacent to a dock and oven, and as stated in the description, may not be……

“We enjoyed the music decor and the location was convenient for our activities. It was quiet and clean midweek. However there was no stove and I didn’t notice that when booking. The property has a microwave but scrambled eggs in the morning was challenging.”

“This fun little cottage is situated on a waterfront canal. There is a dock to enjoy all kinds of wildlife from. A small porch and comfortable back yard. All new appliances and whatever you might need for cooking. The owner is quick to respond to any needs. We will be back!!”

“Nice place with a seaside resort theme and feel.. lots of kids in the neighborhood and Street was close to the main roads, but almost no traffic. Host was helpful answering questions before our stay and accommodations were top notch. Washer and dryer was extremely helpful for our stay back patio was shaded and the hammock and grill were nice additions we would definitely use this verbal cottage again if we return to the area all appliances worked. five stars all aroundand 10 on a scale of 1 to……

“This place is amazing. Its clean, well decorated. The bed is cery comfortable. Yhe host is very quick to respond. We arrived extremely late due to flight delays & the host was there for us with no problem checking in and accommodating. Highly recommended will stay here agine.”

“Small but layout was great. Quiet and the sky is pitch black at night. Small patio in the back is screened in. Bed was so wonderful it was hard for us to get out of it. Kitchen has everything you need even Keurig so make sure to bring coffee. Owner was great and so was communication. For us the location was wonderful. We will be staying there from now till my Mom passes.”

“The place is perfect for people who behave noisless and expect this from others.Great home in many ways; everything was new or renovated, e.g. stove, fridge and freezer, dish washer; the stove heats very effectively, e.g. onions got brown fast with temp set to three; we had the impression to be the first renters; the decorations appeared to be done by artists and with love to details; mattresses would be fine for people with back problems; the lanai included a bed for taking a nap after kayaking……

“Everything was good, the cottage was clean, The location was great, all the stores were within 2 mile away. The lake and playground area was within walking distance. The hosts were easy to commute with. Would stay there again. ”

“We loved staying here. They had all the basics and plenty of living space. It felt like home away from home. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus and it was nice to cook meals and relax after a long day. It also was close to all the things we wanted to see and do.”

“The house is located in a very run down area. The grass is overgrown and in desperate need of cutting. The house is old and not clean. The furnishings are old and dirty. Rodent feces were present. Left over food in the refrigerator and the smell was sickening. The bed was terrible…so much so that on the second night we slept on the sofas. TV is antennae only with very limited channels. Luckily we were only staying the 2 nights. This house rates a large zero on my scale. We have pictures to back……

“Our stay at Manatee Cove truly was magical. The property is right on the river which is gorgeous especially when viewed from the amazing screened in deck. We stayed on the deck most of the time we were at the home. I had never been in a kayak, but since they were supplied I thought I would try it. Now I’m totally hooked! “This house is lovely and very well appointed with anything you might need. It was perfect for our group of six. We spent most of our time sitting by the river and watching all the activity going by. We also made good use of the kayaks and paddle boards that are provided. Highly recommend taking advantage of the put-in at Weeki Wachee state park and paddling the 6 miles back to the house. It's magical.”
