“My family and I had an amazing time at The Young Estate! Coming from the city this was exactly what we needed to unwind and to have such a great family bonding time. It was the first time our twelve and nine years old were not on their phone! The land was peaceful and secluded giving us the ability to reconnect around the large fire pit and the gorgeous pond area. The best part was at night when we all were able to see the stars! The kitchen had everything we need from spices to cooking……

“The pictures online and what you will encounter are on completely different ends of the spectrum. There seems to be a homeless shelter operating on certain floors of the hotel. The hotel stay served it purpose, we will not go back.”

“When we arrived to the lake house after our 12 hour road trip from NC, it was awesome to see the excitement from my family as we arrived while everyone checked out the property.We all were comfortable in the home. The kitchen was stocked with pretty much any dish/utensil you could think of. The views were amazing. We enjoyed waking up to the variety of wildlife while sipping coffee lake side. The kayaks were very much enjoyed by all. My brother, sister and I did the loop around the West River……

“House was neat and tidy - much bigger than impression from photos. Grounds are beautiful with mountain views. Amy was very responsive. Small issue with shower, but was addressed. Was perfect for our family with young children and close to beautiful water hikes and beaches. Would recommend!”

“We loved our stay at the property and the hosts were very attentive. The binder helped us learn everything we needed to know for our stay. The pond was great for swimming and there was plenty of space for our dog to run outside. At night with the lights out, the stars were incredible. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. “The location was very nice being close to everything . It was kept clean. Definitely not toddler or baby friendly with all of the floor decorations throughout and stairs to get up and into the unit but we made it work. We did cook a couple times which worked out well for what was supplied to cook with. The third bedroom is only a twin blow up mattress not a queen futon . Overall would definitely stay again ”

“We stayed with kids and extended family (8 in total) for a weekend when I was running a marathon at Letchworth State Park. The place was clean, well organized and very spacious. The outdoor fire pit was super fun and the kids loved the game room and creek running through the back.”
