“The hotel property and grounds were beautiful. The staff friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast was very good. It's a great base for exploring the area. The only issue we had was probably due to us travelling in the off season. It was very difficult to find many open restaurants for dinner. I don't know if this is practical for the hotel but it may be worth their while to offer meals in the evening. The restaurants we found had excellent cuisine. To be clear this is a suggestion and nor a……

“Property is in need of refurbishment and maintenance. General appearance is past its glory days. Room was large and lacked seating area. Room was cold. TV was too low when watching it from only the location, the bed. Shower head was about to break, and sink faucet needed new washer. Toilet ran all night. ”

“We are so glad we found this gem. Beautiful medieval residence in a historically rich environment! Carlo was an exceptional host, attentive to every detail. We had a wonderful breakfast prepared by him the next morning. If we are in Italy again we will definitely stay here. Our only regret is that we weren’t able to stay longer.”
