“I had a wonderful stay in Casa Gioconda. It is beautifully decorated and the location is perfect for exploring Gaeta. My days started with terrific options for breakfast and lovely conversations with Letizia and Amanda. Letizia and Amanda are both so kind and helpful with recommendations and getting my ridiculously heavy luggage up the stairs. I had three great sleeps in a very comfortable bed in a quiet calm setting. The Casa is located near many restaurants and the sea walk. I would not……

Here are some thoughta for anyone considering it as well The location is excellent, on a quiet side street only a minute from the waterfront road where we were able to leave our car. It was also close to shops and about a 15 min walk to the old town where most of the restaurants are. We tried Sfizi & Delizie and loved the food and the entertaining owner. “We stayed here about 30 years ago and enjoyed it. No change this time !!!! Room was classic (not modern). Beds a little firm. Balcony view was beautiful. The breakfast was wonderful and staff very pleasant. Does have a lift so that was very helpful with our luggage. Overall a great stay and value.”
