“Cute little house out in the country. Exactly what we needed for a quick getaway and some R&R.Well equipped with everything u need, peaceful surroundings. Nice sitting outside and listening to the insects with some star gazing and a bottle of wine!Went down to the river for sunset and enjoyed a day in town.Will definitely recommend this little gem and come stay again.”

“I came with a friend for stargazing. The weather unfortunately didn't cooperate, but it is DARK here. I live in (and usually observe from) a bortle 6/7 zone. But at this location, we saw so many more stars through breaks in the clouds that I could no longer recognize familiar constellations without the aid of a star chart. The Milky Way probably would have looked amazing if the clouds had gotten out of our way. There is some sky glow in the direction of Fredericksburg, but other than that, there……

“We have stayed in many vacation rentals but here we genuinely felt we were at a friend’s cute little bungalo. The host was sweetly accommodating; beds comfortable; decor light and tasteful. The notes that some furniture came from family and the personal reviews and recommendations of “don’t miss” shops and restaurants add to the restful feeling that you are safe and well cared-for. One of our favorite memories is sitting on the back porch enjoying the breeze.”

“We had an absolutely wonderful time here. It was exactly what we needed to get away from work and kids for a long weekend. It's far enough off the beaten path that you feel secluded and private but you're close to Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock for days out there. The cabin was cozy but not tight-quartered and felt very relaxing. Many birds and deer can be seen right from the porch, adding to the seclusion. We loved our stay and would certainly want to come back.”
