“We had a trip of six guys, three father and son groups, to the hill country planned and found this rental which worked out perfect for us. The house and bunk house were very accommodating, clean and comfortable. The location outside of Llano was perfect. The property is in an area along the river that was very scenic with deer in the yard everyday. There are neighbors, but we never saw them and my guess is they are mostly getaway type places. I would recommend for your next trip. ”

“This place is cute and comfortable! The host is responsive and friendly. The house backs up to the llano lake/river and has lovely views from the kitchen and back deck. There’s close proximity to the downtown area which is very cute. It’s within 45 minutes to Colorado bend state park which was an added bonus for us. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We were looking for a secluded place so we could look up at the stars at night. This was wonderful. The wildlife was a bonus. The cats are very friendly and loved to be pet. The cabin is well stoked with items you would need for a short getaway. I have attached one of the many pics I took of the Milky Way.”

“Loved the property and location. It was a very tranquil location away from the traffic and noise of Fredericksburg. The ranch house had a historic look and feel. The host was very helpful and readily available. Wonderful fire pit and porch area. We sighted deer and other wildlife in the area around the house. We enjoyed our stay.”

“Six senior guys, ready for a nice place to fish, play 42, enjoy adult beverages, cooking and eating. The house was great, location terrific. On a dead end road, so very little traffic. Bonus was meeting the owner, he came to check a showerhead not cooperating. Had a very nice visit. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay and getting to connect in a secluded place. It was really clean and the property was easy to access. The “unpaved road” (according to Google Maps) is now paved. The ONLY issue…the listing makes it seem you will have a cabin to yourself, when it’s actually a duplex and we could hear our neighbors stomp around a lot. ”

“The place is beautifully and filled with memories. Its far away from civilization. Quiet and peaceful place in the hill country.
