“We had a great stay here over MLK Day weekend. The cabin was beautiful and the scenery was outstanding. While we were there, we got about a foot of snow. We sledded down the roads and enjoyed the hot tub. I do recommend having an AWD vehicle if you come in the winter.”

“Had a guys weekend away. The home was a perfect home base. The resort had everything we needed for a great weekend (golf course, bar, restaurant, perfect fall weather). Terra Alta is also a wonderful little mountain town with great coffee and beer. May need to look into purchasing a home in Alpine Lake.”

“Sleepy area, nice hiking, swimming. The house is nice enough, just not very clean. It needs attention to maintenance details. Pretty well stocked, but lacked sufficient toilet paper and liquid soap. The windows didn’t appear to have been cleaned in years. Needs the porches swept.”

“This was the perfect secluded location and cabin. It was very cozy and clean. The only thing that could have made it better would be screens in the windows for some fresh mountain air. We have been to Alpine Lake many times and, although all the places we stayed were great, this by far was our favorite. We will definitely be returning to The Red Fox.”

“The host had great communication!Family of four visiting from Florida to see snow for the first time. What a turn out! The house was nice with unique touches throughout. The beds were comfortable with one being firm, one soft, and the other just right for our 6 year old. Price cutter was a nearby grocery store we were able to visit and stock up on food for our stay, and we had a great time snow tubing, although it was quite a ride (2 hours). The atrium was beautiful, but we admired it through……

“This quiet little house is right by trails that overlook a reservoir. Everything was clean and fairly newly remodeled. A couple of small things were wrong, the Keurig had a part missing and the ironing board didn't stay up properly.
