“We are graduates of the FBI National Academy. Each year they host a “training” at Camp Dawson in Kingwood, WV for police officers who have attended the academy. We’ve been attending these events for over 25 years. Staying at Alpine is always a treat. Your house was extremely nice and totally comfortable for four old men! We would certainly recommend it to others.”

“I was not too pleased staying at this location. As I drove up (9pm) there was very poor lighting and the check in area had no signage. I tried to drive to the other side of the building to find the entrance. The signage to find my room was not clearly marked. I went up and down several staircases and hallways in order to find my room. I also took a few stairwells which were dirty and smelled badly. Two stairwells had broken mini refrigerators just lying on the landings. The room was……

“The property was beautiful. The Vrbo room type was not communicated to the hotel and so when we arrived they gave us the wrong room type. Hotel was wonderful in accommodating our needs. The condo we were put in was outdated but very clean. The check out instructions we received were wrong, but again the hotel was very accommodating with us.”

“Overall, this was a great place to stay with a few areas for improvement. The location was perfect—convenient and peaceful—and the beds and couches were very comfortable, making it easy to relax.However, a few additions would have made the stay even better. There were no basic cleaning supplies provided, which made tidying up after meals a bit challenging. “We were disappointed in this townhome. The TV downstairs was in analog so the reception was fuzzy and we could only watch in the bedroom. The upstairs master bathroom was dirty with hair on the shower tract. We called the number to discuss but no one was available. Also, bring coffee filters if you want a cup of coffee. ”

“Great size and quiet location. We must have been the first guests of the spring season however. The hot water was totally shut off. Very prompt response from the resort maintence crew in the morning got it turned on quickly.”

“The unit we were assigned was old and need update. The unit was not clean . The toilet leaked the microwave blew up. I would not have used any of the pots and pans. I could go on and on. I just would not recommend staying there. ”
