“The property is Gorgeous with green rolling hills, a pond with geese and baby geese on the way, deer, beaver and lots of other wildlife! Everything was so close to Charlottesville…Carter’s Mountain, Restaurants, Wineries and a Wonderful treasure down the road at Simeon’s! We loved having picnics on the grounds watching the sunset! Steve was A Great host! Would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway! ”

Nelson county has always been a favorite spot for us to go to, but most of the time we have made day trips. “This property was perfect for what I was looking for: A getaway retreat in the mountains for a couple of day. The fried chicken at Ike’s was delicious, and I walked it off on the trails that lead to the Rockfish River. I will definitely return to this cozy cabin in the mountains.”
