“The property is Gorgeous with green rolling hills, a pond with geese and baby geese on the way, deer, beaver and lots of other wildlife! Everything was so close to Charlottesville…Carter’s Mountain, Restaurants, Wineries and a Wonderful treasure down the road at Simeon’s! We loved having picnics on the grounds watching the sunset! Steve was A Great host! Would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway! ”

“Wife and I were looking for a place away from the hustle that comes with NOVA normally, and especially the weekend of the inauguration. I must say we found the absolute best spot. Nelson county has always been a favorite spot for us to go to, but most of the time we have made day trips. I absolutely love being able to post up for a weekend in a quiet setting and being able to relax. Even the pup enjoys the quiet and are keen to relax next to the stoves. “This property was perfect for what I was looking for: A getaway retreat in the mountains for a couple of day. The fried chicken at Ike’s was delicious, and I walked it off on the trails that lead to the Rockfish River. I will definitely return to this cozy cabin in the mountains.”

The cabin was clean and very comfortable. Brian, the property owner was very responsive and would answer any question we had within minutes.
