“We came “ home” to attend our granddaughter’s graduation. We rented the house to be close to our kids and grandkids. It was a perfect spot for family get together. The kids brought their kayaks and we used the ones provided. Very peaceful stay. Would rent again. ”

“We stayed here as our base for a week of college tours. Boy, was this the perfect place to come home to each evening to reset. We actually never ate out for dinner, because we wanted to eat in the home and watch the sunset over the lake. Also, waking up to enjoy breakfast and coffee, while listening to the birds and watching the light change on the water was absolutely magical. “I thought I did a review two weeks ago, but will try again. Overall a nice place to stay. It is an older home which has undergone updates. You can tell that the landlord is putting time and energy into fixing it up. Just a couple of hints to those who are considering renting, the queen bed is not really a queen bed. My husband and I are used to a king bed at home and we both toss and turn alot, so I ended up sleeping in one of the twin beds. Also we live in rural Vermont so we aren't used to……

“This house and everything included gave us the best possible experience in Hancock. My husband and I were joined by our adult children for a week long vacation. We celebrated my sister's (who lives in Hancock) 85th birthday. The house was like a 4 star resort. Beds were all very comfortable. There were 5 adults but there was room for a 6th. The kitchen was fully outfitted with everything we needed for making meals there. We barbecued and had room for 8 people to eat on the deck. Our adult……
