“We’ve stayed 3 or 4 times at Excelsior, and, as last visit, had a wonderful time. The setting is amazing, Kirstin who runs it is lovely, very efficient and an amazing cook! James who is maitre d’, is also very personable and helpful. Both of them make sure your stay is top class. There’s a golf buggy you can use to look round the vineyard. The wine is very good indeed, and guests get to drink it free, whether lounging round the beautiful pool or enjoying one of Kirstin’s wonderful……

“Truly amazing! Beautiful room, views and pool area. The food in the restaurant was splendid. The only thing that was a bit strange was that breakfast had to be pre-ordered the night before, and coffee/tea was not included. And they have no lunch. I guess my feedback is that they should have more food options available. Another note to future visitors - the mountain road up to the hotel was a bit difficult if you have a smaller car. But other than that it was perfect.”

“Wow - nothing was too much. The team at Small hotel just always surprised us from treats in our rooms to my car being washed (which I’m still in absolute shock and wow - that’s a memorable moment - thank you Wright). The team are all friendly - Noami, Chanti, Charles, Wright and rest of the team are incredible. The actual hotel is beautiful, it’s like a sanctuary. We got an upgrade to pool suite ( try and boom these rooms just beautiful). I can keep going on but it’s a 10/10. Loved our stay and……
