“Staying on top of Blue Knob Mountain was a perfect locale for our church youth group. The house is just off the slopes, demanding a short walk to get to and on the hill. The house has terrific heat and a wonderfully responsive owner. The check-in process with the key was simple and straightforward. While there was a small cleanliness issue with the dishwasher, we took care of it simply by having two empty dishwasher loads run and voila, it was solved. It's a simple set-up, but just right for……

“We had a great time at Oar House. We were surprised that the house was furnished eating and cooking utensils, games, coloring books and crayons and shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the bathroom. ”

“Very cute and cozy place. We arrived to a see a cute Christmas tree and decorations. They left water in the fridge and snacks for us. When we go back to PA in 2025 we will stay there again. Recommendation to the owner would be to use a top sheet on the beds and have extra blankets in each closet. Thank you for the great stay!!!!”

“House was cozy and comfortable. Off-street parking and close to many sites: Penn State, Everett RR, and Horseshoe Curve. Also close to numerous local restaurants: John&George’s, Al’s Tavern and Stone Cellar. Would recommend all three. Overall, nice house and location. Would stay there again.”

“Decided to take the family back to Central Pennsylvania for a New Year’s holiday trip. I needed a property that would be big enough to comfortably house 5 people, and this property was the ideal size from looking at the listing. Upon arrival we immediately were impressed with the spaciousness and cleanliness of the house. Rachel took great care to decorate the house and make it feel at home. Since it was the holiday season, the house was decorated with holiday decorations, and she even had milk……

“We stayed in Canopy Lane for a PSU football game. It was about a 35 minute commute, not bad at all. The home was very clean and Charlene was very responsive. I Highly recommend finding the house in the daylight. Charlene was sweet enough to leave us Staples in the refrigerator and muffins and fruit for our arrival. I highly recommend this home ”
