“The staff is super nice and accommodating. Given how cheap this was compared to typical Aspen prices, I had low expectations but was pleasantly surprised. The hotel felt cozy, there was a good choice at breakfast, and the staff was very available and willing to help. The rooms were somewhat old with some signs of wear (as I expected based on the price and reviews), but I was pleasantly surprised they were functional and clean. The location is fantastic. “The rooms were really old and had a run down feeling. The rugs were visibly dirty, the towels were cleaned, but had stains, and there was no clear statement (that I saw) that there is no elevator. The fireplace suites are not worth the extra cost-- the couches are old and discolored, and the fireplace was a stove- no instructions on how to use, etc. I was disappointed.”
