“Very clean room, well stocked with coffee/ice/towels, etc. No smoke smell in room at all. Nice wooded, peaceful area. Excellent communication from management regarding property and room access. “Nice hotel, great location. When we arrived the desk staff was withering the abuse of a possibly drunk, nightmarish Karen and the staff handled her childlike tantrum with admirable patience and diplomacy. Hate to see people treated that way, especially in front of my kids. ”

“We had a great time at The Ruse. This was the best stay we had on our California road trip! Every member of the staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The groundskeeper, both front desk workers, and chef for breakfast specially went above and beyond to make sure our stay was incredible. ”

“We stayed in a teeny-tiny cabin. Nice shower with nice products. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Nice bed! Two burner stovetop and mini fridge. Fire pit and picnic bench in front of each cabin. Just a few steps to Johnson’s Beach. Just a few blocks from Safeway and restaurants. La Bodeguita Mexican restaurant is a MUST. Property manager Chris is very kind and helpful. ”

“对于中国来的小伙伴，我是非常建议来这里体验，最理想是两晚上。房车里面提供了全部餐具及厨具，而且露营车不会给你收拾房间。注意部分避雷，火堆建议买合成木料，就是大块烧4.5小时那种，一个晚上准备两块够了。路边有卖木柴的，但是业余露营的不建议买。那是高手用的，难着，火弱，易灭。如果要在营地做饭的食物要带够，虽然附近有超级市场。附近有个州立公园适合远足，时间控制在五小时左右。”
