“I was excited about this stay from the time I booked it over a month ago, but I did not know I would fall in love with it as much as I did. As a single woman, traveling alone, I never once felt uncomfortable, and was very happy with the accommodations made by the hosts. “When my wife and I left on Sunday morning after a 2-night stay, it was like saying goodbye to family. Chris, Amanda and Luis are just the nicest folks! If your schedule permits a weekend stay, please do so because the 9:00 a.m. breakfast is second to none. Parts of the road in might be a bit challenging for some, but hey, it's in a river gorge so what do you expect? “Host was great during check-in. He showed me around the property. Driveway was a little rough. Definitely not made for sedans or lowered cars but my small suv did fine. Did not show on vrbo but very perfect water view. Main house does have other lists and the property services all listing. The property give off summer camp vibes. The yurt is nice the ac is a god sent. It was high 90s the whole time i was there. The beds are air mattresses but again still nice. Plenty of places to grill or cook……

“It was a little chilly but Dirk gave us extra blankets and provided plenty of fire wood. He recommended the best local breakfast joint and gave us hiking trail suggestions. Dirk was a wonderful host. Can’t wait to come back in the summer”

“This place is exactly what me and my cousins were looking for for a fun girls weekend! Ms. Vicki was so hospitable and sweet. She made us feel right at home and like family! The property is so secluded and fun to explore. There are so many cool things to find in the creek and the woods. It felt like a beautiful mountain oasis. It is just a short drive to all the shops in copper hill as well! We also loved being able to cook with everything that was provided and having a nice campsite breakfast……
