“The internet was down for most of my stay - it was an area wide problem, not something the hotel could control. On Saturday morning I decided to eat breakfast in the hotel. However, the sausage tray was empty so I opted for a waffle. Unfortunately, the syrup dispenser was empty also and I could find no staff handy to refill either so I went across the street to Cracker Barrel. Only thing I can say in their defense was that the hotel was very crowded including a little league baseball team……

“First, the walls are paper thin. You can literally hear what people are talking about or if they cough. Our neighbor had about 6 alarms going off throughout the night and that’s after we listened to their kids screaming and running around for a few hours. I’m not exaggerating. Quiet hours are 11-8 or something but I’m sure no one expects that a neighbor can even hear their cough and alarms. That’s just ridiculous and speaks to the walls, not the neighbors. “I booked the lodge for a romantic getaway and lived up to every expectation. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. We arrived early and Victoria checked us in without hesitation.
