“Had a lovely time. House is great and beautifully furnished. Enjoyed all the rooms. Some suggestions: 1. the bunk bed room was freezing cold, might want to add a heat source 2. You should advertise that there are two refrigerators in the kitchen. We loved that, but we all brought large coolers for beverages and they weren’t needed. 3. Problem in the upstairs bathroom, the sink did not drain properly. May want to look at that immediately. 4. Those who used that upstairs bath suggested……

“This property is very remote but there is a small town about 10 minutes away. Host is very nice. Unfortunately, during our stay, there was no wi-fi internet, no cell service and no land-line. So we were completely cut off from the outside world and we survived! Host was very apologetic about wi-fi that was cut out by Hurricane Helene and has not been able to be fixed, yet. Only cellular service that works in the area is US Cellular. T-Mobile has a weak signal. Verizon and Spectrum have no……

“The listing states "step back in time" and that certainly sets the tone. If you are looking for a place to stay where peace and nature are the main features, look no further. Nice accommodations, plenty of heat sources to help you stay warm, kitchen is fairly well stocked with pots, pans, spices, oils to help make meals with. I personally loved the that there was a new kitchen sponge waiting for me (it's the little things). Back porch is covered with a tin roof. We sat out there for over an hour……
