“The cottage was in a good location to get to things around Keuka and Seneca lakes. Having access to the water was a great plus. The host gave very good directions for how to find the driveway to the cottage and the best road to take to get to it as it was a bit hidden and Google maps always directed to go on a different road. We also enjoyed the lack of TV/electronics as it was a good way to enjoy the scenery and unplug for the weekend. We did have to bring our own linens and towels which would……

“Loved the location and private access to the lake. Sunrises on the porch with coffee were unforgettable. 1950s charm with modern amenities, can’t beat it. Loved the original front door and rotary phone, a step back in time. Steps not a problem, just a little extra exercise. Clean and comfy. Only notes would be to replace the couch (seems well loved) and address the subfloor in the bathroom by the shower, but not deal breakers. Will stay again! ”

“The problem is that the property is physically small, it's short. Not a problem for most people, but being 6' 3", I was hitting my head on a lot of stuff, and hunching most the time I was in the cabin. The cabin is very cozy, it all takes a bit to get used to, but once you do, it is a great small place to stay in. It would be best to get there early to get the heat figured out, if you need to do that. There are a lot of amenities to make sure everything goes smoothly and to pass the time……

“Beautiful property! Easy access. Nicely decorated and fully stocked with amenities. However, due to the awkward layout, we would have been much more comfortable with privacy window treatments in the front porch area. Also, the shower floor is EXTREMELY slippery. We would definitely rent again. Hopefully with those 2 issues addressed. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely cottage with us!”

“Really don’t like leaving a negative review but I know we all rely on honest reviews to make choices. We came for a wedding and stayed 2 nights-The beds were disgusting. The cottage overall was pretty clean-shower was passable and we tried cleaning the sheets and found old nasty gum in the dryer-but the beds were both absolutely filthy. Old pilled sheets with pubic hair and lots of dirt and just hair hair hair. Obviously had not been washed. Property is managed by a company located somewhere……
