“We really enjoyed our stay. The house was well furnished and far exceeded our needs. We especially enjoyed the large covered back porch. We had family that live in the area over and spent the entire night playing games and visiting. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. This house left us wanting for nothing. “I love this home and the location! The grounds are gorgeous amidst a bunch of pine trees. It was so pleasant sitting on the top deck listening to the wind rustling the pines. The house is spacious and comfortable for my two adult children, one DIL, two grandchildren, my husband and I. There are swings for the kids to play on. “The house is very spacious and very well equipped, more so than most places we have stayed. We enjoyed the decor and would like to have known more about Dr. Woods and family (original owners). We would have liked to have a TV somewhere in the house and the blinds in the corner bedroom need repair or replacement. I would also suggest a little work in the back as there are uneven surfaces and we are four senior citizens. All in all , it is a very nice property with great pricing!”

“We stayed at the property over Easter weekend with family. There were four adults and two teens, and more than enough room for all of us. We were met upon arrival and given a tour of the property and shown how to use some of the things on site. There are a lot of original things to the period it was built, and the images on the listing show off some of the highlights of the property. We enjoyed exploring, playing hide and seek, and relaxing with the family. There were a couple of negatives, but……

“Very private location. Even waterfront is very personal area with a short ride to lake by boat. Good areas to explore by kayak too. Camp is comfortable and clean. Local town has low quality grocery and the Walmart has no grocery at all. It is ok for a meal if you forget something but if you want to cook nice I suggest to bring food with you. Highly recommend property and owner is great at quick response if needed!”
