“We rented Fields Cottage because it is oceanfront, walking distance to several great restaurants, and the pictures showed a warm comfortable decor. Overall we liked the cottage. Our first three days were great on the beach and visiting local restaurants. Our last two days and nights were spent riding out the effects of Tropical Storm Ophelia. The cottage kept us safe. We were a little disappointed to find that the showers were both on the bottom floor and very small. The listing doesn’t make……

“This property was very clean, organized, and well-stocked with what you would need in the kitchen and more. The view of the marsh made coffee on the patio a great way to start the day, and the location was an easy walk to the beach. Our dog also gave it 5 stars. Checkout was super easy. ”

“The house was as described- clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. Also, these beds were some of the most comfortable rental beds I’ve slept on. The neighbors were nice and LOVED the location. The closest boardwalks to the beach were closed due to renovations, but everything is so close it wasn’t a big deal. Owners were very responsive and nice and very thankful for the use of beach chairs. ”

“This house was perfect for my family's Christmas celebrations. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and the downstairs suite made for a great getaway from the rest of the group. Being pet friendly was a huge bonus, our pup loved playing on the beach and being able to utilize the fenced in back yard. The only improvement I would recommend is having a clearer check-in process. We didn't realize we had to go to the Vacasa office to pick up the keys since there was a lockbox code in……
