“Great place to stay. Quiet and peaceful. Getting to Sequoia national park was easy. ”

“We only spent one night and was able to enjoy the grants Grove of the Kings Canyon National park. Concerns that we had: 1. A Beautiful grill was provided, but The propane was empty. The closest propane is 25 miles away. 2. There are no smoke detectors in the unit. Due to the fact that there is an unvented gas heater as well as the water heater in side the cabin… Smoke detectors as well as a carbon monoxide detector should be, and pretty sure legally mandatory. This should be given immediate……

“Ricardo was a great communicator and very accommodating. The location was very private. Super view and great deck set up. Open floor plan with lots of light. Groceries and gas only 8 min back to Oakhurst. Bass lake very close. Giant Sequoia grove in Yosemite only 25 mins. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Location: Tucked away in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood in the city of Basslake, the cabin offers a serene retreat. It's within walking distance of a lovely park featuring a beautiful waterfall—a perfect spot for a relaxing stroll. That said, be cautious about swimming or walking barefoot there, as the area tends to have quite a bit of duck droppings. For those wondering, we did try fishing but didn’t get any bites. “Ideal location with large back property for children to play. Could easily walk to the lake or store. Great restaurants available close by for pizza and burgers. Tried to message "host" twice-no response. Had to on-line chat with someone who did not have any information for us.”

“Lovely cabin that has a dock in one of the smaller coves. We enjoyed our stay at the cabin as well as the access to the water. It was also nice having kayaks, paddle boards, and a splash pad to use anytime we would like. Tammy was an amazing host, very responsive.”

“We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin in Shaver Lake! The home is cozy and inviting, with plenty of space both indoors and outdoors to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We had 12 teens with us, and they absolutely loved it. It was the perfect place for them to hang out, explore, and have fun. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend getaway. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, friendly, responsive, and very easy to reach. We would definitely stay here again and……

“A fantastic spot to book for a group trip - good for families with kids as well as friends that don't mind getting a little cozy with multiple beds in each room. It's only about a 5 minute drive away from Shaver Lake, and there plenty of amenities (ping pong table, board games, chairs to use for the lake, blankets/towels). Erich is super responsive if anything comes up. I think for the price point, it's very affordable for those looking for a short weekend getaway!”

“The cabin was very large for 3 families of 3 with young children and toddler. Lots of rooms for the kids to run around with books and toys for them to play with in the closet. Located about 10 minutes from town, but there is lots of driveway for the kids to use bikes and area around the house is good for the kids to explore. Overall wonderful experience!”
