“This place is a true gem! Not only is it close to Lake Tahoe but the resort itself is in a forest and close to Tahoe rim trail and other hikes and they have their own ski and sled area that also serves hot tea and lunch. Their restaurant in the main lodge serves dinner and has decent food and amazing ambiance with a huge fire place. The room had 2 comfy beds and plenty of pillows. The heating was good too. ”

The only thing missing is a smart tv -- because the weather was terrible and we couldn't ski, we spent a lot of time watching bad movies on cable tv since we couldn't access any streaming services. ”
