“Great, well-stocked cottage only a few minute's walk from Buckeye Lake. The cottage was very clean and the owners were very responsive when we asked questions. Loved our stay here and we'd definitely stay here again if we are in the area. ”

“Lakehaven Cottage has been THE BEST VRBO stay we have ever had. The hosts think of everything you may need for a relaxing stay. They provide excellent homemade buckeyes, cookies and dog treats. They also have some toiletry items should you need them. This is our second stay and we plan to return. Highly recommend!”

“Nice location and quiet. Hot tub was nice, cabin had a fun design that met our needs. We enjoyed staying there. Some cons were regarding maintenence items: some deep scratches in the paint in a few areas, shower faucet that was plumbed wrong makin hot cold and cold hot, kitchen faucet also should be replaced. These were just annoying, but we enjoyed our stay”

“We really enjoyed our stay, it was a really nice house with plenty of space and a great view out the back den with full surround windows. The hot tub was great after a long day of hiking in the Hocking Hills State Park. Being close to town where there are a few shopping options made it easy to cook our own meals at the house.”

“This was a great stay! This place was even better in person - cute, bright, and tidy nautical theme throughout. Layout was great for our family. First time to Buckeye Lake and we thoroughly enjoyed bikes on site for the 4 mile path along the lake. Loved the cocoa, Chocolate, and peppermint welcome treat in the kitchen. Would definitely recommend to anyone! ”

“143 Elliot St at Buckeye Lake was an adorable four room house with a laundry room. Many homes on the street to this location looked a bit tattered but this little house had a complete makeover. Plenty of space for the two of us. We had two bedrooms but only used one. Nice eat in kitchen fully furnished with everything and even some condiments in the pantry. Laundry room was equipped with washer/dryer and laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Basically all we needed to bring was our clothes and……

“My two kids and I came from Michigan. The entire process was easy! When I had a hard time with the lock (my own error), the response was fast and friendly. We loved the lake across the street for fishing. Short drive to the state parks. We really enjoyed our stay here and would return in the future.”

“This was the perfect cabin for a few night get away. We stayed here with our children and it was perfect. The kitchen was a little tight but for one person to be in there it was just fine and had everything we needed to cook each night. Very close to some of the awesome sites at hocking hills, Rock House was one of my favorite places to see. The yard was great and big had lots of room for the kids to run around and throw the football. The firepit and hottub were both huge hits. ”
