“We spent a wonderful week at Eagles Rest. This is a beautiful property with wonderful, ever-changing views of Rangeley Lake and mountains! The home is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The home was spotless when we arrived. It is close to town, yet you feel far removed. We hope to come back next year!!”

“The view was amazing. The cabin tho was nothing like expected. It's currently being renovated, but the walls are nothing but installation, the flooring isn't finished at all. There is electricity and tv, but no water and the bathroom is not finished but there is a port a potty outside that is completely disgusting. Overall the view is great but the place definitely needs a lot. ”

“We had a wonderful time in spite of gray skies and rain. The cabin was cozy and we loved hearing the ducks in the morning and the loon in the evening. Even had a family of deer with 2 fawns in the yard eating apples. Being right on the water was great for relaxing and enjoying the quiet which was what I needed! Walked into town in between rain showers, ate a lot of good food and ice cream! Would definitely come back again!”

“This home is absolutely beautiful! The view from the living room that greets you when you first walk in is breathtaking. The main bedroom is an oasis - high ceilings with a beautiful and unique light fixture, and separate doors off to a private deck. The kitchen had everything we needed to spend several evening leisurely cooking family meals. We also had a great time with a family air hockey tournament one night, and spent one lovely day paddling around the lake. Lots of great hiking in the……

“Our stay was absolutely wonderful! A perfect little winter getaway. The house was just gorgeous and cozy. All the amenities and extras for a cozy weekend. Nice quiet part of the lake, was able to do some ice fishing and snowmobiling with ease. ”

“We had a wonderful stay during school vacation week. We planned to ski all week, but weather had other plans and closed all the lifts, so we had a lot of extra time at the house. We lost electricity and they were out within 45 minutes to hook up the generator for us. Owner/Mgmt company was super responsive to any messages sent. “We really loved our stay at this woodsy Maine cabin in Chesterville. It had such a warm & cozy feel, even though it has such high ceilings. It's also in view of the small lake, with a huge wrap around porch & plenty of places to sit & look out. The indoor fire place/wood stove was wonderful & we used it daily. Wood was stocked. Lots of little touches were so fun, like the s'mores supplies & games, puzzles, binoculars, books, lil nooks to relax, etc. We would definitely return!! Just be careful……
