“This was a beautiful place to stay! The gardens are gorgeous. The staff were friendly, helpful and we especially enjoyed Kyle. The breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend it. (We even loved the art work on the walls of our room). ”

“Great stay with wonderful hosts who shared lote of tips with me. Perfect for solo female travelers. Parking nearby for free, nice breakfast and spacious rooms. ”

“Our room was wonderful, the shared space was absolutely beautiful and the view breathtaking. The place is about a 15 minute walk from the downtown area. There are cafes, restaurants and grocery nearby. I would definitely go back.”

“What a GREAT surprise. No regular Motel experience here. Like staying in your Grandma's House. Everyone staying has a place set for Breakfast. Great Conversation and trip discusions. Breakfast is all local sourced, really good! Yogurts.Jambs, Breads, Fruits, eggs. and coffee your way! I met all German people and had a great time. Did a local hike with the owner and some guests. This was a great start to a wonderfull trip! ”

He went over and beyond making us feel comfortable and happy during our stay and gave us recommendations of events happening in the area which we were very greatful for being able to participate in. “Great location just on the edge of town. Walkable to the town of Furnas. Very clean room. Take note that you are provided the ingredients to cook your breakfast, as there is no dining or room service. It is a very small, intimate style hotel. ”

“Moinho da Areia was an amazing place to stay on vacation. It was located on the beach so we had beautiful views. The property was in amazing condition and very clean. The breakfast was excellent and had a large selection of offerings. Everything about this stay was excellent. ”
