“We sat and watched a major winter storm outside the window. Very exciting from within a cozy house. We enjoyed staying in a house where you could feel somebody's presence, rather than the "accessorized" vacation homes with welcoming signs from the Dollar store etc. Only thing lacking--place needs a new key box because the existing one is hard enough to use that it feels like it won't work. Gorgeous place!”

“Our party of 8 enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped and stocked to get you started. Conveniently located to town and the Botanical Gardens. Plenty of outside space for kids to run around and play. It has a beautiful view of the cove but is very rocky. This didn't stop us from hunting hermit crabs and catching fish. The house is old but that gives it the Maine charm. ”

“We had a very nice stay in this apartment. I would definitely recommend it to others. The owners were friendly and it was easy to get into the unit. The only drawback for anyone who's not quite so agile is the steep staircase to get to the bedrooms. It worked out fine for our family of four, so I just list this for anyone with mobility issues.”

“GORGEOUS house and view! Very spacious and accommodating. Things you should know before booking is that it is about an hour away from anything and everything. House could use some more TV's if you're going with children, pinball machines did not work and neither did "workout equipment" which was an elliptical and treadmill. “We arrived for a short trip and picked the location for the walkability of the area. 25 minute walk to the Casco Bay Ferry Lines. This gave us a fun afternoon to travel to Peaks Island to explore. We got to eat dinner at The Olive a tasty Lebanese restaurant on the way back to our place. Close to walking paths with great views. Be ready to climb to the third story in this walk up space.
