“We loved this place. Beautiful new rooms with full fridge/freezer and k-cup coffee machine. Porch all around the building was so nice to have to breakfast and take-out dinner. The breakfast at this b&b were fantastic. You have a choice of three things the night before and they deliver to your room in the morning. We ate on the porch overlooking the harbor. 2 minute walk to town and shops and restaurants. No car needed once you’re there. Loved it. mark who took care of us was fantastic!”

“We loved meeting the hosts. Stephanie was gracious to let us check in early so we could change our clothes before heading to a funeral. Then Matthew served warm cookies and milk in the kitchen in the evening when we returned. We enjoyed hearing about his thru-hike in the Appalachian trail. ”

“The Candlebay Inn is a warm and cozy bed and breakfast. The house was built in the 1800’s which adds to its charm. Our family occupied two rooms and each room was clean and with the necessary amenities including private bathrooms. The owner, Connie, was very welcoming and provided us with a wonderful breakfast. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Maine!”

“Location to the busy areas of Freeport is steps away from this quiet oasis. Very nice innkeepers and staff will be there to make your stay pleasant while allowing you the privacy of a hotel guest. We stayed one night on our way home from mid coastal Maine and enjoyed our stay. ”
