“This was our 4th time staying in the Bird House and we had another enjoyable time. We love the country location it makes us feel like home. This time we enjoyed the York Herb and Garden Festival on Friday and spent a lot of time visiting the Amish Greenhouses. We cook most of our meals to spend time with our dogs but we did order take our from Caruso's Italian Restaurant and it was great and only 5 minutes away so still very hot when we arrived back to the house. We would highly recommend it and……

“What a lovely home. I stayed here with my mother-in-law who was 91 and my husband. We would be happy to return to this lovely home which was so well supplied. There were were more towels than we could possibly used, extra pillows, wonderful kitchen supplies and loads of snacks and breakfast provided. Everything was clean and and just lovely.”

“House was adorable. Hot tub was not as clean as I expected. Also, there were alot of flies. I believe that is related to proximity to farms. So just a heads up. No screens on windows or doors so they get into the house. The park was perfect for all of our family to enjoy. ”

“Our family was in town for a figure skating competition and this property was a delight!. The interior is modern and updated with attention to every detail. Very comfortable beds and all the amenities you could possibly need. It is located in a nice community with lots of walking paths. It was cold and rainy for our stay, but we hope to return in the summer to take advantage of the beach and rails to trails spur (only a short walk from the cottage). “I stayed at Butterfly Cottage for several weeks during a work assignment in the area. Going back to Mount Gretna every evening was much better than a hotel, and the hosts of Butterfly Cottage thoughtful, communicated well and made sure the cottage was clean and well-appointed. I look forward to coming back soon.”

“We had a short stay to extend our week from another rental. It suited our purpose of having a place to put our heads at night. Cottage is well lived in with some repairs needed. Very animal friendly which was a bonus for us traveling with a dog. Most supplies available (no toaster). Shower only. Parking is located at nearby church and house is short walk down a path connected to lot. This is where we unloaded and carried our stuff to and from. In the summer there is more activities available and……

“We were in town for a friend's wedding, and so enjoyed our stay in the apartment! Not only was it a convenient 3-minute drive from the venue, but we were very close to downtown Lancaster and all the weekend festivities. Having our own private entry was a bonus due to our early flight home on check-out day. Catherine was quick to respond to any inquiries and was a gracious host. Would highly recommend this quaint apartment for your next stay!”
