“Overall，it was a terrible experience. We stayed there for just one night this time. When arriving with my friends at the hotel, a girl asked us to sit down at the lobby and wait for checking in. So we did. My understanding was that she would bring all the paper forms to us for filling in. Then she came and asked me to go to the counter, which is about 30 meters away from where we sit. It's fine and I went to the counter. The man at the counter asked me some questions and told me to go back to……

“Our stay at Sigiriya Rock Hide was amazing! Beautiful quiet location with a view of Sigiriya rock from the top level restaurant. The food was delicious and very generous, especially the breakfast. The rooms were comfortable with A/C and hot water (just took some time to warm up but was very nice). The pool was very nice amongst a lush garden and was very clean and the perfect temperature. The staff were so incredibly friendly and hospitable. One evening, it was one of their staff member’s……

“酒店的位置刚好位于狮子岩和皮杜兰加拉山之间的森林中 因为修路的缘故，傍晚过去费了一番周折。 不过因为是在森林中与世隔绝， 所以住处周围到处都是野生动物的影子 各种壁虎蜥蜴、还有飞舞的萤火虫 我们是在不绝于耳的虫鸣中入睡的。 第二天一早去了酒店后面的皮杜兰加拉山 山顶的风光奇美，360度的云蒸霞蔚。 简直达到叫人击节赞叹的地步。”

“Sad case of lovely hotel falling into decay after Covid. We four were only guests for our two day stay. Staff could not do enough but could not find booking, pool very neglected and rooms although enormous could do with a large amount of tender loving care. One I hope succeeds in the future.”

“Tres bel endroit dans un écrin de verdure et à 1kms à vol d'oiseau du site de Sigiriya. Grande Piscine avec quelques transats et joli restaurant sous un grand porche pour les petits dejeuners et les diners. Breakfast correct mais toujours le meme et au bout de trois nuits, ça devient lassant. Restaurant dans la moyenne, ok pour dépanner mais on trouve beaucoup mieux et moins cher en allant sur la route principale vers Sigiriya. Chambres spacieuses avec grande terrasse mais l'hotel aurait besoin……

Immaculately clean, helpful to a fault, nothing is too difficult to organize on your behalf and OMG the breakfast is more fit for a king than us minions. Look no further if you want a hassle free stay with some (no exaggeration) of the nicest people on this world of ours. ”
