“From start to end, it was an extraordinary experience to stay at the Taru Villas Maia. Most friendly service, wonderful room, lovely pool area. Loved the good coffee and tea (and fresh milk!) in the room, very comfortable bedding and the big shower. Food (breakfast & dinner) was also outstanding. We mostly had Sri Lankan dishes and loved it. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Would return immediately!🙂”

“We stayed in 6 different hotels during our trip in Sri Lanka and this one is by far the best one. Luxury feel with amazing view, spacious rooms and balcony, great service and breakfast. My favorite part is the pool, big with an amazing view of the field and farm. Note that it's almost 1km from the main road so you probably won't go out much. It also means it's secluded, quiet and secluded.”

“Overall，it was a terrible experience. We stayed there for just one night this time. When arriving with my friends at the hotel, a girl asked us to sit down at the lobby and wait for checking in. So we did. My understanding was that she would bring all the paper forms to us for filling in. Then she came and asked me to go to the counter, which is about 30 meters away from where we sit. “My friend and I stayed here for 1 night at the beginning of our 6 day tour of Sri Lanka. This place is beautiful, peaceful and quiet and I wished we had stayed longer. The rooms are elevated and there is a walkway to them . My room are spacious, clean, with a seated area and I had a wrap around view of the forest. We ate at the restaurant and the food was amazing.
