“Nice hotel. Super helpful staff. Our toddler enjoyed exploring the grounds. Restaurant served nice food. Rooms are a bit basic relative to the price. We were unfortunately visiting during Christmas, and the hotel organised a very loud party, which made it hard to sleep! Agreed to lower the volume after many requests ”

“Our stay at Sigiriya Rock Hide was amazing! Beautiful quiet location with a view of Sigiriya rock from the top level restaurant. The food was delicious and very generous, especially the breakfast. The rooms were comfortable with A/C and hot water (just took some time to warm up but was very nice). The pool was very nice amongst a lush garden and was very clean and the perfect temperature. “Beautiful setting. I was a bit confused about advertised lake who is actually not on the property and holds little for guests. Pool area was wonderful very quiet with trees and birds. Heinz was most helpful in sugges outings and arranging driver. A few niggles: Breakfasts like all in Sri Lanka could use some tweaking with toast presented first to go cold and items not offered but available such as tomatoes or bacon: readily provided when requested. Spider life is rampant so staff could pay more……

“My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of our Sri Lanka trip. The rooms were very big and clean, and it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. The staff were great, and organised a safari trip for us, and a very early excursion to Lions Rock. The hotel was quite far away from main attractions, and where local restaurants and bars are (about 20 minute drive). This was fine for us as we hired a moped so we could come and go as we please. “Location - I am a regular guest at this property. It’s a bit of a heaven , utterly relaxing, surrounded by nature. The quality of my sleep always improves when staying at the property. The hosts, Supipi and Uthpala are super hosts. The meals are mostly made by Supipi herself and of course delicious. This time stayed for 6 days, could have easily stayed longer. “Great place to stay. Large spacious room and comfy large bed. Sana and his family are very welcoming and helpful. Great breakfast plus we were treated to a Sri Lankan breakfast too. Sana took us on a morning excursion where we were treated to all the local wildlife, which was such an unexpected surprise. Would highly recommend stating here. Thankyou all.”
