“Great place for a quick escape. Quiet area with a great pond and hiking! Super clean. The pond is clear and serene, a short walk down the road from the bungalow. The cabin is adorable, but I would have loved a few more curtains; the windows are very open. Also, the place begs for lamps, especially for reading; only overhead lighting, which is a but harsh. ”

“Was extremely relaxing. Appreciated the wine left for us. King bed was extremely comfortable but up stairs beds less comfortable. Plenty of room. Left voice message the day checking in but no call back. Wanted to say boat was too hard to get into the water and we rented a motor that was not there. Kitchen is well stocked and just missing a few items but all the rest fantastic and great views!”

“We all had a wonderful stay at the Troy House! Linda was so informative and kind she helped provide all of the details we needed for our stay! We selected the Troy House for its proximity to a dirt-bike camp in Winchester NH that my son and his two friends were attending for the week. Not only was the house perfectly stocked beds were extremely comfortable. “This was our second trip to the lake house. Love the new sitting area overlooking the lake. It turned out to be a chilly week so we didn't spend much time on the lake. The hot tub on the other hand was perfect! Already looking forward to next year!”

“There was a bit of a mix up during the check in process, but it was straightened out. Luckily for us this was trip to catch up with family and friends so we could go somewhere to figure it out, as there is no service without the wifi. The house is gorgeous, clean and spacious inside. There is some sort of day camp (?) thing going on at the property next to it, so kids are running around and swimming in that area all day. It wasn’t bothersome to us. “This is a lovely, quiet place to stay. The internet connection is not great, so if you’re wanting an offline vacation, it's perfect. If you need to work while there, maybe not. The place is very comfy and the host very responsive. I really enjoyed my time there.”
