“We stayed here as our base for a week of college tours. Boy, was this the perfect place to come home to each evening to reset. We actually never ate out for dinner, because we wanted to eat in the home and watch the sunset over the lake. Also, waking up to enjoy breakfast and coffee, while listening to the birds and watching the light change on the water was absolutely magical. The home is so well kept, absolutely spotless, and Melissa is so easy! We requested an iron last minute (gotta look……

“I thought I did a review two weeks ago, but will try again. Overall a nice place to stay. It is an older home which has undergone updates. You can tell that the landlord is putting time and energy into fixing it up. Just a couple of hints to those who are considering renting, the queen bed is not really a queen bed. My husband and I are used to a king bed at home and we both toss and turn alot, so I ended up sleeping in one of the twin beds. Also we live in rural Vermont so we aren't used to……

“My husband, myself, 3 of my adult kids and 5 grandchildren under 7 stayed very comfortably. So many nice rooms. Although very updated had a very nostalgic feel. All of the living spaces were extra large and plenty of seating. The kitchen had everything that we needed and the yard was humongous. We were fortunate to get snow while we were there and the kids had never seen snow since we’re from Georgia. It was a wonderful stay. Thank you so much, Wayne. ”

“The inside of these cabins was exceptionally clean and quaint. We loved the upstairs master bedroom loft! One of our guests needed to use the chair lift on the stairs, and it worked perfectly. The two second bedrooms were nicely equipped and pleasantly decorated. The kitchen had new appliances with a coffee bar. The view of the lake was stunning from multiple views. There were many activities available to take advantage of the outdoor spaces (boats, fire pit, grill, seating, etc.). We really……

“We enjoyed our stay at the house. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all the basics. One thing of note: there is only a countertop toaster oven, not a full size oven. There is a gas cooktop as well. If you plan to cook while there, that will be an important detail. This house has a great view from the living room. We stayed during some very hot days - approaching 90 degrees. There was no air conditioning in the house, but it was still quite comfortable. There seems to be……
